I had the opportunity on September 11th to sing the National Anthem for many veterans, policemen, firemen, and other wonderful men and women who are sacrificing or have sacrificed so much for our beautiful country. I have performed the National Anthem many times before, but this was a unique experience. I could feel the strength of the anthem's words swelling inside everyone around me. I felt a strong sense of pride for this beautiful land in a way that I never have before.
This experience taught me, once again, how great America is, and gave me an idea as to how much has been sacrificed for our liberty and safety. My head will never fully wrap itself around how much has been given up just for me to have the blessings that I have today. I felt so humbled to be among these wonderful people with such strong hearts and desire to serve their country. Thank you for all you do!
